Job summary

Storal’s Blossom Tree Nursery School in Portishead is seeking a part-time Early Years practitioner to support children’s development through play-based learning. You’ll plan activities, observe progress, and deliver care aligned with our curriculum.

You will work with a warm team in a nurturing environment, liaising with families and contributing to safe, high-quality childcare in line with EYFS principles.

Qualifications

• An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3 or relevant experience.
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities and observe progress to support development.
• Manage personal care for children in line with the curriculum.
• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy in daily practice.
• Engage with children’s families to foster strong relationships.
