Job summary

Storal is seeking an Early Years Educator to cover for holidays, sickness, and vacancies at Little Faces, Pontlands Park, near Chelmsford. The role offers full-time and part-time hours with flexible shifts to fit other commitments.

You may be unqualified, or hold Level 2/3 or higher in Early Years. EYFS knowledge is desirable, and you will reflect Storal values in safeguarding and educational standards.

Qualifications

• The full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years.
• Experience as an Early Years Educator or with children under 5 is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the EYFS is desirable.
• Reflecting Storal values around responsibility and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover for children as needed, including holidays, sickness, or vacancy gaps.
• Start days with a planned schedule, but adapt as circumstances demand.
• Engage in creative activities (arts, crafts, storytelling, exercise, educational games) within EYFS standards.
• Support the natural curiosity and learning of young children.
