Job summary

Storal is seeking attentive Early Years staff for our Acorns setting in Tean. This role involves filling gaps in attendance, assisting with daily routines, and delivering developmentally appropriate activities in line with EYFS standards.

You will support caring for and nurturing young children, with flexible shifts to fit around other commitments. Level 2+ EY qualification is preferred, with unqualified applicants also considered if they show the right values and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or higher EY qualification (Early Years Educator/Practitioner/Nursery Nurse) or equivalent.
• Experience with young children and a caring, supportive approach.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including holidays and variable hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover for children as needed (holiday, sickness, vacancy).
• Deliver engaging activities and follow EYFS standards.
• Support planning and delivery of age-appropriate learning experiences.
