Job summary

Keystone Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated Nursery Worker to join Long Sutton Primary School Nursery. The role is 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time plus inset days, on a fixed term contract until 31 August 2026.

You will contribute to delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and support children with high-quality care and education. You will work alongside the Foundation Stage 2 team and Senior Leadership Team, with safeguarding support from the DSL and EYFS

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in childcare (full and relevant)
• Safeguarding training (updated yearly)
• Excellent knowledge of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage
• A passion for childcare and education
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Build excellent relationships with parents and carers and develop strong partnerships with families
• Contribute to planning learning opportunities and activities to support children to make progress in all areas of development
• Meet the individual needs of children through child centered learning and play, ensuring health, safety and well-being
• Engage with Tapestry to communicate with families and supplement professional knowledge of the child for accurate assessments in the 7 areas of learning
• Provide a safe, happy and stimulating Nursery environment that promotes respectful relationships and the voice of the child
• Work as part of a wider Nursery team, communicating effectively with colleagues
• Support children with SEND and deliver interventions and strategies
• Attend staff meetings, parents evenings, open day events and wider school community events
• Promote the nursery to new families and the community
