Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Facilities Management Assistant (Band 2) in Liverpool to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across inpatient mental health facilities and offices. The role supports a wide range of cleaning, catering and basic facilities tasks within a multidisciplinary team.

The post requires GCSEs or equivalent, a Foundation certificate in food hygiene level 2, and the ability to work flexibly across 15 hours per week.

Qualifications

• GCSE/O Levels or experience.
• Foundation certificate in food hygiene level 2.

Responsibilities

• Carry out facilities tasks as allocated by the team.
• Cleaning of clinical/ward areas, inclusive of toilets.
• Waste disposal.
• Basic food preparation.
• Fridge and food temperature monitoring.
• Collate service user menu orders.
• Undertake all mandatory training.
• Participate in performance management and PACE evaluations.
• Maintain documentation and data entry.
