Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Facilities Management Assistant to join the team at Hope Centre. The role covers cleaning, waste disposal, basic food preparation, and data entry, supporting a safe and welcoming environment.

You will work as part of a team, undertake mandatory training, and liaise with colleagues to ensure duties are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Flexible working will be considered where possible.

Qualifications

• GCSE/O levels or equivalent experience.
• Foundation certificate in food hygiene level 2 preferred.
• Experience in health or catering cleaning is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of clinical/ward areas including toilets.
• Waste disposal and basic food preparation.
• Fridge and food temperature monitoring.
• Collating service user menu orders.
• Assist colleagues and line manager with tasks.
• Complete mandatory training and participate in PACE.
• Adhere to policies and maintain safety in duties.
• Enter data and complete documentation accurately.
• Stand in for other FMAs and liaise with stakeholders.
