Highdown School and Sixth Form Centre is seeking a part-time Music Technician (20hrs per week) to support the Music Department and GLF Schools community. You will assist in lessons, guide music technology coursework, set up live events, maintain equipment and promote safeguarding.

The role requires practical knowledge of multi-track recording, PA systems, music software (VSTs) and GCSEs in English and Maths. Collaboration and independent initiative are valued in our supportive school.

Qualificações

• GCSEs in English and Maths are expected.
• Experience in multi-track recording and Cubase or similar DAW.
• Knowledge of PA systems for live performances and rehearsals.
• Practical ability to maintain and repair musical and technical equipment.
• Knowledge of software installation, including VST instruments.
• Flexible, collaborative and proactive approach to supporting staff and students.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to work independently.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of young people.
• Relevant qualification in music technology or production desirable.
