Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Scheduling Officer to maintain efficient scheduling of treatments in the Medical Day Unit at Chelsea and Cavendish.

Working 22.5 hours per week across Monday and Friday with shifts from 8.00am to 8.00pm on a rota, you will provide administrative support to clinical teams and may move between different parts of the hospital as required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a healthcare environment.
• Understanding of working with patients who are critically and chronically ill.
• Awareness of patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Appointments, scheduling and capacity management for the Day Unit.
• Coordinate all administrative aspects of the Day Care Services.
• Plan patient treatment and unit capacity considering staffing and turnaround times.
