Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a Maths Teacher for a welcoming middle school in Redditch. The role is part-time (0.8FTE) starting January 2027, with Thursdays off, and will run for two terms. You will primarily teach Maths to Y6 and Y7, with some planned RE, Geography and History lessons and gaps for intervention work.

The position offers flexible placement and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant, with a focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Maths Teacher role across Y6 and Y7 in a middle school setting.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) required.
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths.
• Experience teaching Maths to pupils.
• Ability to teach across Y6 and Y7 with effective classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Teach Y7 Maths.
• Teach Y6 Maths.
• Deliver planned Y6 RE, Geography and History lessons.
• Deliver intervention during timetable gaps.
• Work 0.8 of full-time hours, with Thursdays off.
