Job summary

Parkgate is seeking a maintenance person to perform general repairs around the Centre and car park as part of the PPM program, with 18 hours per week. You will work under the Senior Operations Manager to ensure efficient operation of the scheme.

You will be responsible for repairs to fabric and finishes, painting, jet-washing, plumbing, brickwork, and report issues. Adherence to COSHH, PPE, and health and safety protocols is required.

Qualifications

• Essential: 1 to 3 years’ experience in maintenance or transferable role.
• Knowledge of chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety policies including COSHH, PPE, etc.
• Desirable: City & Guilds 2377-77 Level 3 (Electrical Equipment inspection/testing).

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks around the Centre and car park.
• Support the Senior Operations Manager and Operational Support Supervisor.
• Maintain on-site workshop and tools in good working order.
• Work weekends and bank holidays to provide maintenance cover.
