Job summary

Keystone Academy Trust is seeking a friendly Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our midday team and ensure a safe, enjoyable lunchtimes for pupils.

You will supervise children during lunch, promote healthy eating and good manners, and lead activities in designated areas. The role runs 12–1pm, Monday to Friday, for 5 hours per week under a part-time permanent contract (Grade 2 pt 3-6). An enhanced DBS check will be required in line with safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist the children during their lunch
• Ensure standards for healthy eating and table manners are maintained
• Supervise and monitor behaviour in the playground or other designated areas during indoor play
• Lead the children in the establishment of suitable activities
• Maintain checks throughout the lunchtime period to ensure pupils are safe
• Put out appropriate play equipment for the boys ensuring items are stored safely at the end of the lunchtime period
• Be aware of and follow the school's safeguarding, fire and other emergency procedures
• Clearing the dining hall and supervision of pupils both inside the school and in the playground.
