Job summary

Filtronic plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a part-time Customer Fulfilment Coordinator to join the Sedgefield team. The role focuses on coordinating the final stages of orders, ensuring accurate shipping, documentation and invoicing, and acting as a key contact for customers on status and queries.

You will work with Sales, Project Management, Finance, Stores, Purchasing and Operations to ensure timely and compliant fulfilment in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Solid understanding of shipping and logistics processes and documentation.
• Proactive problem-solving approach with a can-do attitude.
• Experience using ERP systems in a customer fulfilment or supply chain role.
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is desirable.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage shipping documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with logistics providers and Stores to arrange timely delivery.
• Generate and issue accurate customer invoices aligned with pricing and dispatch.
• Ensure invoicing is completed promptly to support cash flow.
• Be the main contact for customers on order status and shipping queries.
• Investigate discrepancies to minimise delays to delivery or payment.
• Maintain records of shipments, invoices and customer communications.
• Coordinate with Sales, Project Management, Finance and Stores on shipments.
• Manage packaging stock levels and re-order points with Purchasing.
• Support returns processing with the Quality team.
