Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in Mitcham, Surrey, seeks a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist for a part-time locum role (22.5 hours per week) with immediate start. You will deliver specialist interventions to children with complex communication needs and work within a multidisciplinary team to support care planning and outcomes.

Qualified SLTs registered with HCPC, skilled in supervision and staff training, and able to travel as required are encouraged to apply.

Job Title:Speech and Language Therapist
Grade:Band 6/7 (as applicable)
Location:Mitcham, Surrey
Working Hours:22.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our client’s specialist team in Mitcham, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children and young people with complex needs in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. The role is available on a locum basis with an immediate startand offers competitive rates.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will deliver specialist therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex communication needs. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments. You will support and guide staff teams, contribute to care planning, and provide training and supervision. The role requires initiative, creativity, and a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
