Job summary

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is recruiting a Part Time Recreation Assistant (Lifeguard) at Crystal Leisure Centre, Stourbridge. The role averages 12.83 hours per week on a 3-week rotating shift pattern, including evenings, daytime hours and weekends.

You will be IQL qualified (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) and provide both poolside and dry-side supervision. You will assist in maintaining the security of the leisure centre and promote high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
• Evidence of IQL registration or equivalent may be required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supervise poolside and dry-side areas as required.
• Assist in maintaining centre security and equipment handling.
• Complete cleaning and maintenance tasks on a schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
