Job summary

Dudley Council is seeking a part-time Recreation Assistant (Lifeguard) at Crystal Leisure Centre, Stourbridge. The role involves working an average of 17.5 hours per week over a 3-week rotating pattern, including evenings, days and weekends.

Crystal Leisure Centre, Stourbridge is looking to recruit 1 Part Time Recreation Assistant (Lifeguard) to work 17.5 hours on average per week, over a 3-week set rotating shift pattern, including evenings, daytime hours and weekends.

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

Salary: Grade 3

• You will be IQL (Institute of Qualified Lifeguard) qualified (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification must be in date) and provide both poolside and dry-side supervision as appropriate and assist in maintaining the security of the leisure centre.
• You will be required to set out and return to stores any equipment that may be required, undertake regular cleaning duties and maintenance schedules in accordance with a programme of work and instructions.
• You will be required to promote quality customer service and maintain a friendly atmosphere at the centre.
