Job summary

Dudley Council is seeking a part-time Recreation Assistant (Lifeguard) at Crystal Leisure Centre, Stourbridge. The role involves working an average of 17.5 hours per week over a 3-week rotating pattern, including evenings, days and weekends.

Qualifications

• IQL Lifeguard qualification with valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (must be in date)
• Ability to supervise poolside and dry-side areas and maintain security

Responsibilities

• Supervise poolside and dry-side areas as appropriate
• Assist in maintaining the security of the leisure centre
• Set out and return to stores any equipment as required and follow a maintenance programme
• Promote quality customer service and maintain a friendly atmosphere at the centre
