Job summary

Horizon Leisure Centres in Havant is seeking a Part Time Lifeguard to join our Operations team. You will assist the Duty Management Team in operating a first-class leisure facility and provide a safe, welcoming environment for all customers.

As a Lifeguard, you will perform lifeguarding duties, enforce safety policies, and support maintenance and customer inquiries. This role rewards commitment, offers training, and the chance to progress within our dynamic leisure trust.

Qualifications

• RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Certificate required or willingness to undertake.
• First Aid qualification desirable.
• CosHH & Health & Safety qualifications desirable.
• Experience in customer services preferred.
• Centre Attendant/Lifeguard experience in wet and dry centres beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Duty Management Team in operating a first-class leisure facility.
• Undertake lifeguarding duties and duties as directed by the Duty Management Team.
• Maintain and monitor facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure customers and staff are treated with respect at all times.
• Set up and take down of sports equipment per schedules.
