Job summary

Horizon Leisure Centres in Havant is seeking a Casual Lifeguard to assist the Duty Management Team in operating a first-class leisure facility for customers.

You will report to the Duty Manager and join the Operations Team, contributing to health and safety, customer service excellence, and smooth facility operations. Must be physically fit, a strong communicator, and flexible for site travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer services environment.
• Experience as a Centre Attendant/Lifeguard in a wet and dry centre.
• First Aid.
• Manual Handling.

Responsibilities

• Use the Horizon HELLO in all customer interactions.
• Welcome and assist customers with general enquiries.
• Understand and be knowledgeable about our products and services.
• Undertake lifeguarding duties and operational duties as directed by the Duty Management Team.
• Maintain and monitor all facilities to ensure cleanliness is paramount and always free of hazards.
• Responsible for ensuring customers are treated with respect.
• Responsible for ensuring staff are treated with respect.
• Responsible for the safety of all customers and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.
• Set-up and take down of sports equipment according to schedules.
