Job summary

The University of Manchester Library is seeking a Building Care and Operations Assistant for the John Rylands Library. This 16-hour-per-week post (Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat, 4-hour shifts 8am–12pm) supports cleaning, porterage and maintenance of the Grade I listed building, and assists with events and security as needed.

You will work as part of a small team, follow in-house training in conservation cleaning, and help protect our historic spaces and collections while delivering reliable operational
