Job summary

Amax Estates & Property Services Ltd in Gravesend is seeking a confident Lettings / Property Manager to oversee a ~80-property portfolio with school-hour, part-time hours. This office-based role rewards autonomy, experience and professional judgment, with commission on new business and the option of a company car.

The role requires at least 2 years in lettings/property management, rent-collection experience, and a clean driving licence; ARLA/Propertymark qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years recent, hands-on lettings / property management experience.
• Proven experience managing rent collection and arrears.
• A clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a portfolio of properties; carry out visits and inspections.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with trusted contractors.
• Keep landlords informed and up to date; market properties when they return to the market.
• Handle enquiries and progress new lets; support new landlord take-ons.
• Monitor rent receipts and daily rent runs; manage arrears firmly but fairly.
• Liaise with legal advocates as needed and ensure compliance and administration.
