Part-Time Legal Secretary

Up to £26,000 Pro Rata

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Part-Time Legal Secretary to join a well-established law firm based in Birmingham. This part-time position for three days a week (25.5hrs) offers a salary of up to £26,000 Pro Rata. The firm is known for its specialist legal services in areas such as conveyancing, wills & probate, family law, and litigation. If you're highly organised, proactive, and experienced in supporting fee earners, this could be the perfect role for you.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support including audio typing, scanning, and document filing
  • Assist fee earners with client correspondence, document preparation, and case progression
  • Manage incoming phone calls and liaise with clients and external contacts professionally
  • Ensure compliance processes such as file opening and closing are completed accurately
  • Format and amend legal documents using internal templates and systems
