Meet the team:
Our Commercial Property team are one of the fastest growing real estate practices, having more than doubled its income and significantly strengthened the team over the last two and half years. With the support of our Planning and Construction colleagues, we have one of the best integrated teams. We act for local and national developers, pension funds and venture capitalists as well as foreign investors on projects throughout the UK.

Our Commercial Property team is part of our Infrastructure and Specialist Markets business group which comprises Residential Development, Commercial Property & Development and Building Communities. These teams are further supported and complemented by our Social Housing, Town Planners, Energy, Education and Infrastructure project specialists. This is an exciting time to join a passionate group of people, responsible for driving the business unit forward.

The opportunity:
Our team has grown from strength to strength and we are looking for an ambitious individual to join us at paralegal level. There may be opportunity to study towards CILEX/SQE as part of your ongoing development.

What you will be doing:
  • providing paralegal support to the commercial property team, with exposure to general commercial property
  • liaising with clients, and handling queries and enquiries where appropriate
  • being responsible for and conducting all aspects of transactions
  • drafting and producing forms and transactional documentation
  • completing transactions to a high standard

What you will need:
  • a minimum of 6 months’ previous experience in a paralegal / fee earner role dealing with commercial property work
  • experience within a commercial property team
  • experience of using case management and time recording systems
  • experience of land registration and using the HM Land Registry portal
  • experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams

  • a hands on approach to work with and be part of a wider team
  • the ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients alike
