Cheshire College South and West is seeking Learning Support Assistants to support learners across a variety of subjects at Crewe Campus. Roles are part-time during term time with a pro rata salary of £24,784 per annum.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
• Good working English and Maths, ideally GCSE C (4/5) in Maths and English.
• Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Note-taking, demonstrating tasks to learners.
• Explain steps clearly to complete a task set by the teacher.
• Join college trips to support learners.
• Meet and greet learners to help them access their lessons.
• Use support strategies to keep learners focused on learning.
• Create adaptations to materials to help learners access their learning.
