Job summary

St Leonard’s Hospice in York is recruiting a Learning & Development Coordinator to join our Workforce, Education, Learning & Development (WELD) team. You will coordinate all training, act as the primary contact for trainers and help deliver a varied programme that supports staff wellbeing and performance.

This is a part-time role, 24 hours per week, based at the main hospice site with flexible hours. Salary is £16,581.76 per annum pro rata (FTE £25,909).

Qualifications

• Experience in learning and development or training coordination.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all virtual and in-person training and act as the primary contact for trainers.
• Manage all internal education and wellbeing events such as Workforce Wednesdays and celebration weeks.
• Collaborate with academic providers to ensure seamless student placements processes and experiences.
• Collect and maintain records of all education and training sessions and utilise data to improve and enhance the effectiveness.
