Class Act Teaching Services is seeking a KS2 Teacher to cover Thursdays and Fridays on a long-term placement starting in October 2026. The role focuses on delivering high-quality lessons within a supportive, inclusive school environment.

The ideal candidate holds QTS and has KS2 experience, with strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and excellent classroom management. The school values safeguarding and active parent engagement.

Qualifications

• QTS possession.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet all learners' needs.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Teach a KS2 class on Thursdays and Fridays.
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging primary lessons.
• Assess, monitor and report pupil progress.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to school community.
• Participate in parents' evenings and school events.
• Undertake lunchtime duty and other duties as required.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and participation.
