Job summary

Class Act is recruiting for a KS2 Teacher to join an all‑through school in North London on Thursdays and Fridays. The role is a long‑term placement starting in October 2026 with ongoing duties across the primary curriculum and school events.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has KS2 experience, strong classroom management, and a commitment to safeguarding. The post offers weekly PAYE pay and additional employee perks through Class Act’s partner benefits.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2 within primary age range.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and schemes of work.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons for all learners.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Teach a KS2 class on Thursdays and Fridays.
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Assess, monitor and report pupil progress.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to school community.
• Support in parents' evenings and school events.
• Undertake lunchtime duty and other professional duties as required.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
