Job summary

Waddington All Saints Academy in Branston seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant for KS1/Reception, working three days a week (Mon–Wed). You will support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development in a positive classroom.

You will assist teachers, help create an inclusive learning environment, promote independence, and support pupils with additional needs. DBS check required; safeguarding policy followed.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children
• Patience, caring, and commitment to inclusion
• Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom, individually and in small groups
• Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons
• Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
• Promote independence, confidence and resilience in pupils
• Support pupils with additional needs where required
• Assist with classroom organisation and administrative tasks
