Job summary

Waddington All Saints Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learning, wellbeing and development for pupils in Reception or Key Stage 1. The role is three days per week, ideally Monday to Wednesday, during term time only.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, support pupils with additional needs, and help create an inclusive, positive learning environment in KS1. DBS enhanced checks apply.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade 4-9 (A-C) essential.
• Level 3 qualification in relevant discipline such as Health and Social Care, Childcare and Education, etc desirable.
• Experience of working within an education setting or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils in the classroom, both individually and in small groups.
• Assisting teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
• Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Promoting independence, confidence, and resilience in pupils.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, where required.
• Assisting with classroom organisation and administrative tasks.
