Job summary

Waddington All Saints Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The role is for 3 days a week, supporting pupils in KS1 and Reception, and will involve assisting teachers and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

We value a genuine passion for working with children, patience, and strong communication skills. DBS checks to be completed as part of safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grades 4-9 (A-C) or equivalent.
• Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline desirable.
• Experience in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom, individually and in small groups.
• Assist teachers with preparing and delivering lessons.
• Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Promote independence, confidence and resilience in pupils.
• Support pupils with additional needs where required.
• Assist with classroom organisation and administrative tasks.
