Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers’ Vintage Inns is seeking a Part Time Kitchen Team Leader at The Swan to join a welcoming pub setting. You will support the Head Chef, train a kitchen team, and deliver great food from a branded menu, while promoting great guest experiences.

You’ll manage food prep, ordering and stock control, ensuring health and hygiene standards are met, and work to hit targets with your team. A path for progression and benefits exist within the group.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and delivering consistent quality.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to manage stock, ordering and cost control.
• Proven track record of achieving targets and driving performance.
• Comms and training skills to develop kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Ensure adherence to branded menu and health and hygiene standards.
• Oversee that your team follows health and safety regulations.
• Assist Head Chef in achieving performance targets.
