Job summary

Potters Resorts Five Lakes is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team with cleaning, basic prep, and equipment upkeep. This role requires a UK driving licence and a flexible approach to shifts, including early mornings and weekends, in a permanent, part-time capacity.

The position offers hourly pay between £10.85 and £12.71, with responsibilities focused on hygiene, efficiency, and team collaboration in a busy resort kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is advantageous but not required.
• Solid hygiene and food safety understanding.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Positive, proactive attitude and able to work well in a team.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Good communication and ability to follow instructions.
• This is a physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
• Keep all kitchen areas floors and surfaces clean and hygienic.
• Assist with food preparation tasks: chop vegetables, prep ingredients, assist chefs.
