Job summary

North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College Wigston campus is seeking a part-time Industry Placement Advisor (0.5 FTE, 18.5 hrs/wk) to support T Level students in securing meaningful industry placements. You will work with employers, students and curriculum teams to prepare for work and guide placements to successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with employers to secure placement opportunities.
• Deliver weekly sessions to prepare students for placement and develop employability skills.
• Match students to placements aligned with course and career goals.
• Monitor progress and support successful completion of placements.
• Attend employer meetings and promote opportunities for students.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure placement documentation meets college requirements.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams to ensure placement targets are met.
