Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking to employ an Industry Placement Adviser to join our Sixth Form Careers & Employability team. Working 37 hours a week this role is based across our Strode's and Windsor College campuses on a term time only basis working 41 weeks per year.
The role pays from £25,116.16 (H19) to £27,604.40 (H22) depending on experience and qualifications. The full time equivalent for this role would be £27,284.00 (H19) up to £29,987.00 (H22).
The primary objective of this role is to act as a bridge between the professional world and education, supporting students in acquiring essential employability skills and securing high quality industry placements that fulfil the criteria set by both the college and awarding bodies. This role is ideal for professionals from diverse industry backgrounds, such as retail, recruitment, account management or business development, who are passionate about student development and helping young people launch their careers.
This role relies on building strong partnerships, which means you will regularly visit employers at their locations, alongside working across our Strode’s and Windsor College campuses. To get the most out of the role and navigate these visits easily, the successful candidate will find it essential to have a full driving licence and their own means of transport.
