Milton Keynes College has an exciting opportunity for an Inclusion Practitioner to join the Prison Education team at HMP Aylesbury on a part-time basis.

The role involves providing inspirational learning support to small groups and individuals, with a focus on ALS, Maths and English, and setting targets to improve employability.

Working across the whole prison estate, you will help learners achieve their potential and benefit from generous leave and development opportunities.

Job description

Milton Keynes College have an exciting opportunity for a Inclusion Practitioner to join our Prison Education team at HMP Aylesbury on a part time basis. Proposed working pattern is 3 full days – Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 08:00-17:00 – other working patterns could be considered for the successful candidate.

As a successful Inclusion Practitioner, you will provide inspirational learning support to small groups of learners and on a 1:1 basis. This will require a holistic approach to highlight specific learning needs and improving learner skills. Your focus will be on ALS, Maths and English, leading to employability outcomes, with effective target setting to meet individual needs.

You will be a passionate, creative and empathetic towards our learners and be able to offer knowledge and guidance to our learners.

As an Inclusion Practitioner, you will be working across the whole prison estate, on all wings where education is delivered.
