Job summary

Disability North is seeking female personal assistants to provide personal and domestic support for a disabled woman in Newcastle. The role is part-time with 1-2 shifts per week, including daytime and overnight options, across the full week, with fixed days.

You will assist with personal care and domestic tasks, and accompany the client in social outings to bars, restaurants, gigs, theatre and cinema. Training is provided; physical fitness is required.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Applicants must be physically fit.
• Role is female-only as per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and domestic support in the home and during outings.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as toilet needs, showering, and stoma care.
• Carry out cooking, washing, ironing and cleaning duties as needed.
