Job summary

Disability North in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an experienced female Personal Assistant to support Andrea in her home environment. You will accompany her to appointments and shopping trips, stay with her to ensure safety and provide encouragement with mobility issues.

The role covers light domestic duties, meal planning, batch cooking, medication management and helping with personal care and daily living skills.

• Background in mental health essential.

Responsibilities

• Accompany Andrea to appointments and shopping trips, staying with her to ensure wellbeing and mobility support.
• Assist with prescription management and daily medication routines, and help with personal care and dressing.
• Support with meal planning, batch cooking and weekly routines to improve organisation at home.
• Provide light domestic duties including laundry, hoovering and general cleaning; assist with day-to-day living skills.
