Job summary

The HIVE Family of Schools is seeking a part-time Trust HR & Payroll Officer to join our central team. You will deliver accurate HR and payroll services across our four schools, maintaining records, processing payroll data, and assisting with employment documentation.

You will work with school leaders, payroll providers, and Trust colleagues to ensure confidentiality, GDPR compliance, and timely payroll processing while supporting payroll variations and HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work with numerical data and payroll information.
• Experience in an administrative environment and GDPR awareness.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as central point of contact for payroll administration.
• Process payroll variations, starters, leavers and contractual changes.
• Prepare contracts, variation letters and employment-related correspondence.
• Maintain accurate employee records and workforce data.
• Support payroll checking, reconciliation and reporting.
• Provide admin support to Trust-wide HR processes.
• Build relationships with colleagues across schools and central team.
