Job summary

Select is seeking an HR Advisor in Beccles to provide first-line HR support across the full range of employee relations. You will handle absence, performance, disciplinaries, grievances and flexible working, plus manage recruitment, onboarding, contracts and HR documentation.

The role requires CIPD Level 5 and solid employment law knowledge; you will analyse HR data, build relationships with managers, and contribute to HR projects in a busy, office-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Advisor providing first-line advice across employee relations.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification and solid understanding of employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line advice and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
• Manage absence and performance processes, disciplinaries, grievances and flexible working.
• Own recruitment and onboarding, prepare employment contracts and HR documentation, maintain accurate employee records and analyze HR data.
• Support management training and contribute to broader HR projects.
