SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join a Camden primary school on a part-time basis (3 days per week). The role focuses on day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee relations and safeguarding compliance, with support from external HR advisers.

Qualifications

• Proven generalist HR experience in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in education, the public sector or local authority is advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of employee relations, recruitment and employment law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with discretion.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR operations for the school.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and safer recruitment checks.
• Support managers with absence, disciplinary and capability processes.
• Maintain SCR, contracts and HR policies for safeguarding requirements.
• Coordinate staff appraisal cycles and people management practices.
• Offer confidential HR guidance to school leaders as needed.
