Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking an experienced HR Manager for a Camden primary school. This part-time role (three days per week) involves leading day-to-day HR operations, advising school leaders and coordinating recruitment, onboarding and safeguarding compliance.

Hybrid working arrangements are available and external HR advisers provide additional support. The ideal candidate will have proven generalist HR experience, expertise in employee relations, and strong communication skills to manage

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role.
• Experience in education/public sector or local authority is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruitment, employment law and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact for school leaders on HR matters.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and safer recruitment checks.
• Support absence management, disciplinaries and performance management.
• Maintain SCR, contracts and policies to meet safeguarding and employment requirements.
• Coordinate annual appraisal cycles and staff development activities.
• Provide confidential, professional HR guidance to leadership and staff.
