Job summary

This is Alexander Faraday Limited is seeking an experienced HR Manager/Generalist to support two school campuses, manage end-to-end HR processes, and develop robust policies. The role offers hybrid working with some home-working flexibility and requires a Full DBS check.

You will partner with senior leaders to foster a compliant, people-focused environment where staff and students can excel. CIPD Level 5 and solid HR experience in education are essential.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 required or equivalent HR qualification.
• Experience as HR generalist including ER, recruitment, onboarding, training and induction.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Safeguarding awareness and ability to work with school leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support two schools with HR management and compliance.
• Oversee full employee lifecycle, recruitment, onboarding and HR reporting.
• Coordinate employee training, induction and development activities.
• Serve as first point of contact for HR queries from staff and managers.
• Provide employee relations guidance to SLT and support managers with disciplinary processes.
• Set up HR systems and drive process improvements.

If this sounds like the role for you, then please read on. Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager / Generalist with a passion for people, processes and education, to join their organisation overlooking two schools.

Main responsibilities:

• Supporting two schools with the HR management and compliance
• Full employee lifecycle, end to end recruitment, onboarding & hr reporting
• Employee training and induction, follow ups and development support
• First point of contact for all HR related queries
• Employee relations and advice to the Senior leadership team and supporting managers with disciplinary processes
• Setting up of HR systems and processes and process improvement

Requirements:

• CIPD Level 5
• HR system experience (The school currently uses Pride HR, National College, Arbor) but this is not essential
• Experience as an HR generalist, in ER, recruitment and onboarding, training and induction
• Process improvement and strong stakeholder engagement
• Must have excellent communication skills and organisational skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with employees and management
• Attention to detail
• Safeguarding

This role is 8am to 4:30 pm, with some flexibility to work from home. Hours will reduce during school holidays. Full DBS required
