Job summary

Brunswick Organic Nursery in Bishopthorpe, York, is seeking a part-time HR Officer to join our charity team. The role is 16 hours per week, with needs to finish by 4pm on at least two days, supporting HR administration, payroll and policy work.

You will work on site with a friendly team, handling recruitment, training coordination and compliance tasks while contributing to a rewarding community project.

Qualifications

• Part-time HR Officer role with 16 hours per week.
• Must be able to work on site in Bishopthorpe.
• Experience in HR administration and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Directors and Operations Manager for HR duties for 40+ staff.
• Oversee recruitment process.
• Coordinate and record staff training.
• Involvement in monthly payroll processes.
• Draft policies and coordinate policy renewal schedules.
• Assist in delivering interviewer training for adults with learning disabilities on our panels.
