Job summary

DHL is seeking an HR Advisor for a part-time, site-based position at Gloucester. You will support HRBP and site leadership to deliver the HR plan, assist with employee relations, policy interpretation and workforce planning, and provide timely HR data across the business.

The role requires experience in HR, trade unions, case management, and strong organisational skills. Travel to other sites will be required as needed.

• Experience in a logistics business is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support HRBP/site leadership to deliver the HR plan and develop people management capabilities.
• Support employee satisfaction, performance, retention and site communications.
• Provide HR support on employee relations, policy, recruitment and key projects.
• Advise and coach managers on applying HR policies and legislation.
• Support workforce planning, organisation design and forecasting resourcing needs.
• Assist with disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence cases and related investigations.
• Collaborate with managers to reduce sickness absence and redeploy staff where needed.
• Provide accurate data to HRBP and managers for HR processes.
