Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist for a part-time role in the Sandwell area. The position is three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) with responsibilities including shortlisting and viewing adapted properties, attending medical priority panels, and advising on adaptations for clients.

Applicants should hold a degree or professional qualification in Social Occupational Therapy and have a valid HCPC registration.

• Must hold a degree, post graduate or Professional Qualification in Social Occupational Therapy.
• Ideally have 2 years direct OT experience.

Responsibilities

• Shortlisting adapted properties.
• Attend accompanied viewings of adapted properties with Lettings Officers and clients and approving final offers.
• Attend band 1 medical priority panels as required to assist band 1 medical priority decisions.
• Assess age label requests when an applicant bids on age-restricted properties due to disability/medical condition.
• Advise on property adaptations to meet client needs.

• Attend band 1 medical priority panels as and when required to assist band 1 medical priority decisions
• Assess age label requests - where an applicant has requested to bid on age restricted properties due to their disability/medical condition
• Advise on property recommendations for clients who require specific adaptations

To apply for this role you must hold a degree, post graduate or Professional Qualification in Social Occupational Therapy, hold a valid HCPC registration. Ideally have 2 years direct experience of working in an OT role.
