Sanctuary Personnel Limited is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Housing Adaptations Team in Barnsley. You will assess adults for housing adaptations and prepare detailed reports to support independent living.

The role involves home visits, liaising with residents, families, contractors and housing teams, and ensuring work complies with professional standards. HCPC registration and a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy are required.

• Knowledge of housing adaptations and Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG).
• Knowledge of enabling independence within the home environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise workload effectively.
• Experience working within a Local Authority or for a housing provider.
• Experience in NHS community services.
• Knowledge of housing legislation and experience working collaboratively with housing, technical, and construction teams.
