Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking a reliable Part-Time Hotel Housekeeper in Pontypool to join a busy hotel team. Shifts run roughly 9:00am to 4:00pm with days varying each week; flexibility is essential to cover occupancy and business needs.

You will clean and present guest bedrooms and public areas to high standards, change bed linens, replenish toiletries, vacuum and report maintenance issues. Prior housekeeping experience is welcome but a positive attitude and reliability are the key requirements.

Part-Time Hotel Housekeeper

Hours: Approx. 9:00am - 4:00pm
Days: Part-time - days will vary each week
Pay: £12.71 per hour

JDR Recruitment is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Housekeeper to join a busy and welcoming hotel.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time daytime work. Due to the nature of the hotel industry, the days required will vary each week depending on occupancy and business requirements, so we are looking for someone who can offer flexibility.

The Role

Working as part of the Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring guest bedrooms and hotel areas are cleaned and presented to a high standard.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms

• Changing bed linen and making beds

• Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing toiletries

• Vacuuming, dusting and general cleaning

• Replenishing towels and room supplies

• Ensuring rooms are ready for arriving guests

• Reporting any maintenance issues or damaged items

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout your shift

Hours & Availability

Shifts will generally run from 9:00am until approximately 4:00pm.

This is a part-time position and is not based on fixed days each week. The days required will vary depending on the hotel's bookings and requirements, so flexibility across the week is important.

Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hotel experience would be beneficial, but we are also happy to consider reliable candidates with the right attitude.
