Job summary

The Punchbowl in Lapworth is seeking a reliable Part-Time Housekeeper to join our small 11-room B&B, mainly covering weekends. You will clean guest bedrooms and public areas to a high standard, ensuring rooms are ready for guest check-in.

£12.71 per hour with typical shifts 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM. The role offers regular weekend work in a friendly hospitality environment with full training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual.

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest bedrooms following check-outs.
• Make beds and change bed linen and towels.
• Clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, baths and sinks.
• Vacuum, mop and dust bedrooms and public areas.
• Replenish toiletries, tea/coffee and other guest supplies.
• Check rooms carefully before guest arrivals.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage or missing items.
• Keep housekeeping cupboards and cleaning equipment clean and organised.
• Assist with laundry and linen where required.
• Follow all health & safety and cleaning procedures.
• Work efficiently to ensure rooms are ready for guest check-in.
