Job summary

B&Q Inverness is hiring a Customer Advisor for evenings and weekends on a permanent part-time basis (12 hours per week). The role focuses on delivering great customer service, helping shoppers with home improvement needs, and ensuring the store displays and stock are well-presented.

Ideal candidates are friendly, eager to learn, and comfortable working with new technology in a team environment. Shift patterns include evenings and weekends, with fixed location at Inverness store.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, eager to learn and help customers.
• “Just a little bit obsessed with home improvement” and comfortable using new tech.
• Able to work on a rota including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and guidance to customers in-store.
• Assist with stock management and display setup to keep the store looking great.
• Contribute to sales, with focus on customer service and product knowledge.
• Learn paint-mixing and timber-cutting as part of training.
