Job summary

B&Q Swindon is hiring a Customer Advisor on a permanent part-time basis (20 hours a week). The role covers a broad range of customer service tasks, stock management and display setup, with shifts available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

You’ll be trained in paint-mixing and timber cutting, but delivering excellent customer service will be your main aim as you help customers improve their homes.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing; eager to help customers.
• Enjoys working in a team and on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Able to learn new technology and adapt to store systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert customer advice and guidance to shoppers.
• Assist with stock management, setting up displays and maintaining store presentation.
• Learn paint-mixing and timber cutting as part of product knowledge.
• Deliver great customer service as a key focus of the role.
