Job summary

B&Q Swindon is hiring a Customer Advisor for a part-time, 20 hours per week role. You’ll greet customers, offer home improvement guidance, assist with stock and displays, and contribute to a well-presented store. Training in paint-mixing and timber cutting is available, with customer service as the priority.

Shifts run Monday to Sunday, 7:00am–10:00pm, and a store location allowance is included in the hourly rate. A competitive benefits package supports colleagues across the business.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing and eager to help others.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technology.
• Able to work in a team with a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be an expert advisor to customers, guiding them with home improvement ideas and advice.
• Drive sales while helping with stock, displays and store presentation.
• Trainable in paint-mixing and timber cutting; delivering excellent customer service as the main goal.
